Todd E. Diener is a seasoned restaurant executive with lifelong experience in the food and beverage industry. His career is dedicated to driving growth and encouraging innovation in all facets of the hospitality industry.

Mr. Diener's successful career is highlighted by his contributions to Brinker International, Inc. (NYSE: EAT), a leading casual dining restaurant company renowned for brands like Chili's Grill & Bar, Romano’s Macaroni Grill, On The Border, Maggiano’s Little Italy and Corner Bakery.

Mr. Diener joined Chili’s during its startup years with only 13 restaurants in 1981. He led the brand through immeasurable growth for 28 years, his tenure culminating with 1496 restaurants in 28 countries at the time of his departure in 2009. Mr. Diener held many executive positions at Brinker, including 2 terms as President of Chili's and Chief Operating Officer of Brinker. His tenure at Brinker is defined by his unwavering commitment to strategic leadership and operational excellence, responsible for shaping the company's core brands and driving sustained growth through company operated and franchised restaurants.

Since September 2017, Diener has held the position of Senior Advisor at General Atlantic, a prominent global growth equity investor. Mr. Diener’s industry knowledge provides strategic guidance and support for investment initiatives in the private equity arena.

In addition to his role at General Atlantic, Mr. Diener was appointed Chairman of Torchy's Tacos in August 2025. He also serves as Chair of the comp committee and sits on the audit committee.

Mr. Diener's expertise extends beyond public companies to private ventures in the food and beverage sector. He has served on the boards of various companies, including The Pantry, Artcaffe Coffee and Bakery, Rosa Mexicano, Nairobi Java House, Taco Mac, and Snappy Salads, demonstrating his commitment to fostering success across diverse segments of the industry both domestically and internationally.
